Attention Incoming Men’s Soccer Student-Athletes!

College soccer starts in the Summer and runs into the Fall!

• Soccer Athletes Need to be enrolled in the SUMMER SESSION

• SUMMER SESSION ENROLLMENT FOR NEW STUDENTS BEGINS June 14th.

• Summer activity includes the MANDATORY "Orientation to College" class (Counseling 100) which also requires English and Math Placement Tests.  These are all necessary for eligibility!

• Placement tests will be done on an APPOINTMENT ONLY basis starting June 20th!

We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE all our incoming student-athletes to enroll in our summer Soccer Techniques class on weekday evenings (Mon & Wed), beginning June 27th  at 6 PM (P E-032M-01, CRN #10183 ).  Participation in the summer program gives us a longer opportunity to evaluate you and gives you a chance to get familiar with our facility, our student-athletes, our campus and our program, while you build fitness and strength for the season. Even if you are planning a vacation trip, we need to enroll you in the classes so that you may participate when you are in town. We rely on our July-August class to prepare for the regular season 

Pre-season meetings start the week of Aug. 8th with practices starting  the 15^th and team selection within a few days.  We shall have one or two scrimmages against outside teams before the regular season starts on Aug. 26th.  Potential Student-Athletes must clear their schedule for 2-6 PM STARTING AUGUST 11th

Please plan to apply for De Anza's SUMMER SESSION.  Applications for the summer are taken after March 1st and class enrollment will commence June 14th.

As soon as you have a college ID number, please SEND IT TO ME! (landefeldmark@deanza.edu).This will accelerate you enrollment in all soccer-related activity, including the summer soccer class.

If you've sent us your college ID number, we'll make sure you are enrolled in COUNSELING 100 "Orientation to College" July 18-21, Mon -Thur.  It will take place from 3-5:40 pm and this section is DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR ATHLETES.  This enrollment will also  allow you PRIORITY REGISTRATION FOR FALL CLASSES.
