Athletic Training Volunteer Program

Do you like athletics, medicine, and helping people succeed in physical activity? Interested in pursuing a career in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, and/or Sports Medicine? Volunteering in the De Anza College Athletic Training Room is a great way to get started! You will have the opportunity to work with more than 450 student-athletes competing in 19 different sports! Our Athletic Trainers are passionate about providing care to our student-athletes and assisting our volunteers in expanding their knowledge of athletic training and sports medicine.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Shannon Bracy at bracyshannon@deanza.edu and/or Steven Williams at williamssteven2@deanza.edu

For more information about athletic training, please visit our website at De Anza College Sports Medicine and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.

(While volunteering is open to anyone interested in Athletic Training, we do prefer that our interns are CPR with AED certified. Volunteers will be required to complete a Volunteer-of-Record form and fingerprinting through the Foothill-De Anza Police Department at the De Anza Substation.)
