The voicemail system at De Anza is currently being repaired. Please use e-mail to contact the person you wish to reach. The format is lastnamefirstname@deanza.edu. CCP AssignmentsInstructors will have their own assignments integrating CCP participation into their course syllabi. Whether CCP is required, for extra credit or simply voluntary, there some documents that can help students get started:One is The Meeting Log . Use this to keep track of hours that you and your partner meet. You should keep it up-to-date and submit it to your instructor if you are getting credit. Do not give it to the CCP staff. Another is called Meeting Suggestions for Cross-Cultural Partner . Read this for suggestions before, during and after your meeting with your partner. Finally, we have CCP Suggested Topics for Conversation . Here are 30 topics to select for discussion. In five or even ten meetings, you cannot talk about all of these things. Choose those that interest you both. Some ESL students like to prepare ahead of time before they discuss a topic. Knowing the topic will help them look up some vocabulary words before you meet. Most of all, enjoy your meetings and the opportunity to make a new friend.
