Students in this course will learn how to be able to apply a growth mindset as they face challenges and frustrations in their personal and academic lives. Students will learn techniques to succeed in their personal and career goals, both current and future.
Instructor: Lisa Carrell has taught growth mindset methods since 2006 and received the Silicon Valley Education Foundation’s prestigious “Teacher of the Year” award
in 2017. She instructs students from ages 5 to 95 on using these methods to continuously strengthen their abilities and never give up.
Class requirements: Tablet, laptop or desktop computer with internet capability

– BEGINNING TO
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

This class will explore the latest version of the programming language that powers the World Wide Web. Students will learn professional techniques for building websites, using the essential design and content tools of HTML and CSS. They will start with the basics of page structure, tags, formatting and layout, before moving on to creating a sample website.
Instructor: Jasneet Matta has a master’s degree in information technology from Mumbai University and has taught students in grade school through college. She thrives on teaching students to grow socially and academically, while helping them gain self-confidence through motivation and encouragement.
Class requirements: Tablet, laptop or desktop computer with internet capability.

This class will dive further into the details of web design and web content, using the latest version of the programming language that powers the World Wide Web.
