About Youth Voices United for Change
Youth Voices United for Change (YVUC) is an annual youth leadership conference planned by De Anza College students for local high school students every fall quarter in November. Every year YVUC brings 300 high school students together on the De Anza campus to learn about social justice and how to be empowered to take action to improve their lives and to help their communities thrive.
Sponsored by the Institute of Community and Civic Engagement, the FREE conference includes breakfast, lunch and workshops by De Anza students and local organizations that educate and engage students to make positive change in their lives and in their communities. If you are interested in helping us coordinate a conference for 2012, please e-mail Kei Fischer at fischerkei@deanza.edu.
