WHY MARCH in SACRAMENTO?

March in March is an opportunity for students to lobby for the issues they are most passionate about.

Students will be in an advocacy environment to create awareness and support for higher education, Prop. 13/Prop. 30, LGBTQQIA rights, climate justice and ending police violence. Students will also participate in a large Q & A with a state legislator.

Students should check with their instructors to see if they may be excused from class March 2nd and/or receive extra credit for attending the march. Reserve your spot on the bus to stand up for your rights!
