Instructor Information: Alan Simes
My name is Alan Simes and I have been a full time member of the Language Arts Division at De
Anza
College for over twenty years, teaching courses in English Composition, Literature, Philosophy
and
Film. I have been teaching online since 1999. When I can drag myself away from the computer
(all those
emails, papers to grade, syllabi to upgrade, etc), I am usually busy with my family. I also try to
read
interesting books, watch films, listen to music (every kind but usually the loud variety), hike,
bike ride
and cook.
