Examines fundamental issues in metaphysics and epistemology. Metaphysical issues will include the mind/body problem, personal identity, freedom and determinism, and the existence of God. Epistemological topics will include such issues as our knowledge of the external world, induction, other minds, truth, the nature of knowledge, and gender and ways of knowing. Prerequisites
