An introduction to HVAC systems, the systems that provide heating, cooling, humidity control, filtration, and comfort control to facilities. Examines various HVAC systems and their interrelationship with other building systems. Students will consider HVAC technologies that can help facilities managers achieve the goals of lowering energy costs, becoming more environmentally friendly, and enhancing indoor air quality.
