How to Get Your DASB Eco Pass |
| STEP | ACTION |
DESCRIPTION |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Register for classes and pay your fees |
Go to MyPortal to register for your classes. You will be automatically charged a mandatory Eco Pass fee — $4 for part-time students (11.5 or fewer units), $5 for full-time students (12 or more units) per quarter. |
| 2 | Obtain Your DASB Photo ID |
Note: The DASB Card Office is closed during winter and spring break. |
| 3 | Order Your Eco Pass Sticker |
Starting with each registration period, go to the MyPortal Registration Tab to order your VTA Eco Pass sticker. Just look for the green leaf and follow the Request an Eco Pass link. You can order a sticker for the current term through week 8. |
| 4 | Receive Your Sticker by Mail | Your Eco Pass sticker will be mailed to the address that you provide when you place the order. If you do not receive the sticker within a week, please place a claim at the Office of College Life in the lower level of the Campus Center. |
| 5 | Attach Your Eco Pass Sticker to Your DASB Card |
The Eco Pass is for currently enrolled De Anza students only. Any other use constitutes fraud. |
| 6 | Enjoy Unlimited Rides on VTA Buses and Light Rail |
See VTA routes to De Anza that travel from where you live and work. Use the VTA Trip Planner to get to De Anza. For your destination, use 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd. Cupertino CA.
The Eco Pass will be valid for the dates printed on the sticker for that specific quarter. You will be required to order the Eco Pass sticker for each quarter term that you are enrolled and wish to use the transit pass. Pay attention to the validation dates on the DASB Eco Pass sticker. The Eco Pass sticker that you receive by mail is not valid on VTA until the first valid day on the sticker.
When you show the VTA driver your valid Eco Pass sticker on the back of your DASB card, please hold your card vertically with your photo facing you at the top. |
