Digital Strategies for Animation ( DA L-43)
11/3/2018
10:45 am to 12:15 pm
This is a recurring event.
This class will introduce students to the use of digital technologies as digital photography and digital imaginary to a basic understanding of animation and video production. We will go back-and forth between a first draft idea using more traditional elements like drawing to then manipulate these ideas to get a different look using a diversity of digital strategies. A first drawing or image found on a magazine can transform itself to a completely different image with the use of new technologies. Participants will use art-basic narratives to give an extra meaning to each project. Additionally, students will be exploring not only the images created but what they mean to individuals as part of a larger community.
