De Anza's Animation Program welcomes Cordell Barker, a much honored animator from the National Film Board of Canada, for a personal retrospective of his films and a discussion of his methods.
Nominated for an Academy Award in 1988 for "The Cat Came Back" and again in 2001 for "Strange Invaders," Mr. Barker will also screen his latest work, "Runaway," which has won numerous awards in 2009, including the Audience Prize at Cannes and the Special Jury Prize at Annecy.
