Biography

Gigi Acker, MPH, RD, is a part time instructor at De Anza, San Jose State University and owner of NutritionInsights, Inc. (www.nutritioninsights.com). She received her Masters degree in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Food from Auburn University.

For more than a decade, Gigi has provided fun & motivational nutrition-focused seminars and cooking classes to many companies including Cisco Systems, Yahoo, The Gap, Electronic Arts, 3M and American Express. She has broadcast nutrition messages through television appearances and radio interviews in over 30 cities.

Prior to moving to Silicon Valley, Gigi taught nutrition at the College of St. Catherine, Minneapolis for 10 years.
