2. Which political or social issues did the film explore? Are there issues with which you can identify or have any degree of familiarity? Did the film move towards resolution of any issue?

3. How does each persons love of hard work and persistence inspire their student’s?

4.Did the film depict any behaviors or responses, which you would consider to be stereotypic? Please elaborate.

5. What kinds of feelings did the film elicit in you?

6. Were there any traditions, which survived in teaching since you were in elementary or high school? Please elaborate. This includes classroom environments, procedures used in the classroom and class management..

7. What changes did you see that were made to involve the students?

8. What strategies did these teachers use to encourage their students? How did they refuse to allow their students to “give up”? What strategies did one of your former teacher's use to involve you as a student in the classroom? Be specific in answering this. Give examples.

9. How did this film affect you personally? Compare this teacher to some teacher you had in the past that made a significant difference in your life. Again use examples.

10.Add your own personal insights into your paper, reflecting on what makes a good teacher. This section needs to be thought out carefully.
