Partnerships & Corporations

The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the formation and operation of business enterprises, focusing on the sole proprietorship, general and limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, limited liability companies, and the business corporation. Students will be introduced to the advantages and disadvantages of each form of business enterprise and will learn how to draft various California business-related documents.
