Biography
Fred Marcus is an adjunct faculty with both De Anza College and the University of Maryland University College. He taught full time for four years in UMUC's European Division covering a variety of courses in both sociology and psychology: intro soc & psych, marriage & the family, personality, social problems, social psychology and child development. After returning from Europe, he held a Post Doc with the U of Maryland in Family Mental Health and went on to hold full-time positions in both small colleges and universities. Before joining De Anza he was Lead Faculty in the Social Sciences Division at National University-Bakersfield for six years. In between academic positions, he has worked as an independent researcher in evaluating drug rehabilitation and human resource out-reach programs. He now resides in Redwood City, California with his wife Donna Marie Wocher, his twelve year old son, Max Adaiah, and their two dachshunds, Ketchup & Mustard. Courses Taught at De Anza
