This online course provides students with an orientation to De Anza College including a review of De Anza's programs and policies. Emphasis will include major selection, GE review, the transfer process and the completion of an Educational Plan.
COUN 200 is a .5 unit, Pass/No Pass, three-week course. There are six lessons you must work through. To pass the course, you must complete ALL of the following: complete the quizzes, assignments and submit an Ed Plan for my approval. Your ed plan will include important information including placement test eligibility, your choice of major and general education pattern, degree objective (AA/AS or transfer), and your choice of classes for the upcoming quarter.
Students will develop a one quarter Student Educational Plan using Degree Works that supports your individualized educational goal and reflects your placement tests results.
All course requirements must be completed by Friday, January 31, 2014.
