Biography

I have been a Clinical Laboratory Scientist since 1973, graduating from the University of Iowa. I have always had a passion for making a difference in people's lives and my career as a CLS has given me the opportunity to do just that.

My career path has included working in both large and small clinical laboratories, industry, technical service, sales and education.

I live in the Bay Area with my husband. We have three grown children, 4 wonderful grandchildren (another on the way in October 2011.

I enjoy spending my free time outside.  I love walking the beach whether it be on the coast or in Hawaii.  Other interests include:  hiking, camping and working in the garden. Yosemite National Park is one of my favorite places.
