Early childhood Development, multi cutural approach

Fatemeh S. Zarghami is a part-time instructor in Child Development at De Anza Colleg,Ms Zarghami is also a trainer for The Program for Infant Toddler Care, she is also experienced with the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS). Her educational background includes both a Master's degree in Multicultural Education from Pacific Oaks College, following an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) diploma from London's International Institute.

Over the past 35 years on three continents Ms Zarghami has either taught directly as a Montessori Directress specializing in early childhood education, or she has served as an instructor of early childhood educators. Ms Zarghami has previously served on the task force for magnet Montessori schools for inner-city Kansas City, and she has participated in passing child car-seat legislation in Missouri. Ms Zarghami has served as the representative for children's health and safety for the Kansas City Medical Auxiliary to the State of Missouri.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, Ms Zarghami has served as a school director and administrator for over 10 years. Her particular professional interests include dynamic classroom interaction, and meeting the individual needs of multicultural students including championing and supporting multilingual education and learning. Ms Zarghami in her spare time is also committed to improving community educational infrastructure, and serves on the Iranian-American Library Advisory Committee board for the San Mateo Public Library.
