June 8th Meeting Rescheduled to June 16, 2011

Hi team,

We have rescheduled the June 8th meeting to June 16th from 10-11am so we have time to review the 2011 draft accreditation self study report.

At the June 16th PBT meeting we will be asking for your feedback on the whole document, but we will be paying special attention to Standard III.

De Anza College is preparing for reaffirmation of accreditation by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) this fall.

Many faculty and staff collegewide have contributed to developing the Accreditation Self-Study to be submitted to ACCJC. The draft is available at

The document will be reviewed by shared governance groups in preparation for action by College Council on June 23 and by the board of trustees on July 11. A Town Hall meeting on the Self-Study will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, in Campus Center Conference Room A.
