I. Approval notes: Notes of February 7, 2012 were approved with a minor change.

II. Faculty Positions: Espinosa-Pieb thanked the members for the organized voting process. Then she presented the Faculty Ranking for 2012-13 Final Outcomes and asked the members for their feedback.

Espinosa-Pieb explained the process of counting votes and answered some questions.

Espinosa-Pieb shared with the members that after talking with Kevin McElroy (Vice Chancellor, Business Services) and Dorene Novotny (Vice Chancelllor, HR & EO) that it’s possible that we might hire the 10th position on the list because the ICCE position did not result in an additional use of FTEF.

Espinosa-Pieb stated that emails were sent to the Instructional Deans to immediately start forming hiring committees.

Espinosa-Pieb informed the members that all Faculty Ranking and Data for 2012-2013 will be posted on IPBT website on February 15 by noon.

In addition, Espinosa-Pieb thanked the members again. The cancellation of the next meeting was announced. (February 22, 2012).
