Review of Notes & Confirmation of APRU Dates –

The notes of February 2, 2016 were approved and the APRU dates were confirmed.

Instructional Printing Budgets –

Cheu presented Instructional Printing 15-16 IPBT Budgets spreadsheet with the budget breakdowns for each department and total allocation amount for each division.

Espinosa-Pieb reminded everyone that departments’ allocations were based on 2-year actual printing expenditures and 50 % of the materials fees that had been collected in the past.

After review and discussion the members approved the divisions’ total printing amount allocation on an ongoing basis.  IPBT agreed that it’s up to the dean and departments to decide on the distribution of these funds within the department.

Susan Cheu will be invited to a future IPBT meeting to continue the budget conversation about large scale facilities expenses and how those should be best noted.

Appointment to Technology Committee –

  • The committee meets once a month - from 1:00 to 3:00 PM
  • Co-Chairs - Marissa Spatafore & Mary Pape (faculty co-chair)
  • Moaty Fayek volunteered to represent IPBT on the Technology Committee
  • Espinosa-Pieb advised Fayek to contact committee co-chairs for more details

Good of the Order:

Instructional Equipment allocations must be tied to PR, SLO, facilities group etc. Set up a submission format. Follow up at next meeting on February 16, 2016

Reflection year questions - Deans to make short statement in the division summary. Follow up at next meeting on February 16, 2016
