About Measure C

On June 6, 2006, voters in the Foothill-De Anza Community College District's service area approved by a 65.69% margin a $490.8 million bond (Measure C) for facilities and technology improvements and upgrades.

This Measure C Construction website is designed to keep our campus community informed about current and upcoming projects that may impact our daily business.

New Walkways Between Stelling Road and L Quad

If you walk onto campus from the bus stops along Stelling Road, your commute through Parking Lots A and B just got a lot safer this fall! Look for and use the new sidewalks between those two parking lots.

Parking Lots A and B
Open for Fall Quarter

  • Parking Lots A & B will be open for fall classes. The installation of photovoltaic structures has been completed. The panels will be added progressively throughout the quarter.
  • June 19, 2010 - Staff Lot F near E-1 closed for 18 months

New Buildings

Mediated Learning Center

Read about our goal to make this an energy efficient facility and to obtain a platinum rating based on the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.

 

Measure C will allow De Anza to
  • Upgrade electrical, heating, ventilation systems, fire/seismic safety;
  • Repair leaky roofs;
  • Improve disabled access;
  • Repair/expand classrooms for nurses/paramedics;
  • Upgrade technology; and
  • Repair, construct, acquire, equip buildings, classrooms, libraries, sites, science/computer labs.

New Classroom and Office Locations

Southside of East Cottage

The newly rebuilt East Cottage, between the Flint Center and California History Center (CHC), is now a classroom (ECOT-1 in the schedule is signed as EC-1 on the door). Enter the classroom from the north side of the building.

 

The cottage is also the permanent home for the Institute of Community and Civic Engagement. See detail map for location on campus.

Baldwin Winery Building entrance

 

The historical Baldwin Winery Building (formerly the old bookstore) is home to Financial Aid, Print Services and Part-Time Faculty offices. Financial Aid entrance is just off the main Campus Center Patio.


Northside of the Baldwin Winery

 

The Print Services (self-service copy area is available for students) and Faculty Offices are located on the north side of the building (enter from the A-Quad).

Intercultural/International Division Office and MCC faculty offices are back in the Multicultural Center (MCC).

 

OTI/CompTech and the Office of Outreach and Relations with Schools have moved to their permanent locations in the Seminar Building.
