Herb Patnoe Jazz Festival
The annual Herb Patnoe Memorial Jazz Festival is a tribute to former De Anza College Music faculty member Herb "Doc" Patnoe. Each year the festival presents performances by professional jazz artists and draws outstanding high school and college jazz groups from around the state during the spring term.
Thursday Lecture/Recital Series
The Music Department and the Creative Arts Division sponsor a free recital/lecture series that is open to all members of the De Anza community. All events are free and take place on Thursdays at 12:30-1:32 PM.
Several times each quarter the Music Department brings outstanding guest artists to the campus. The final three events of each quarter feature performances by De Anza College music students
