Free Student Success and Support Services Workshops Offered This Fall
A variety of workshops are planned this fall to help students succeed at De Anza and beyond.
Whether you are brand new to college or preparing to apply to a four-year university, you'll find topics of interest throughout the quarter.
Many workshops start the fourth week of classes and continue throughout the quarter, sponsored by different departments on campus. Take a look at the offerings. Then mark your calendar with the dates and times.

- Academic Skills
Topics include note-taking, textbook reading skills, how to communicate in reading groups, and goal setting and motivation, just to name a few! Sponsored by the Student Success Center.
- Choosing a Major and/or Career Workshops
Advance registration is required. Learn to identify potential college majors and career options based on The True Colors Personality System. Sponsored by Counseling and Advising Center.
- Stress Management Workshops
Attend a series of educational workshops on mental health. Sponsored by Psychological Services.
- Transfer Center Workshops
Learn about the UC and CSU application process and how to write the Personal Statement. Sponsored by the Transfer Center.
