  • Visit 12 high quality Taiwanese early childhood program.
  • Explore cultural attractions, landmarks and museums.
  • Meet with staff and students at De Anza's sister college, Hung Kuang University.

July 1-19 Tour and study in country:

Earn Up to 7 Units in Child Development Courses
  • CD 69 Early Childhood Education Principles and Practices - cross cultural emphasis
  • plus CD 12 Child, Family and Community Interrelationships OR CD102Z Curriculum for Child Development Personnel

Program Cost

Estimated cost is $3,500 including:

  • Airfare to/from Taiwan
  • Lodging
  • Food
  • Travel and fees inside Taiwan

Financial aid is available. Financial aid officer Nina Van at is available by appointment to answer questions.

  • Tuition and fees to De Anza
  • International health insurance
  • Beverages in Taiwan
  • Enrollment as a student of De Anza College

How to Apply

There are 18 spots available for the trip. Application is due by MARCH 30, 2014, with a $500 deposit. Deposit is refundable until May 30.
