Take classes at De Anza this summer!

It's not too late. Summer term starts today - Monday, June 30. You can still add classes.

See tips below for getting the classes that you need!

  • Click on the Course Notes iconcourse note whenever you see it in a searchable schedule result.
  • You can also select the NEW Department Print ViewGet a more detailed PDF listing that includes prerequisites, course descriptions and course notes in one view.

  • Use the Class Finder on your MyPortal Students Tab to find newly added sections for high demand courses.


  • Need to add a class after school begins? Attend the first meeting of the class to get an Add Code from the instructor if space is available. Then see How to Add Classes Online after School Starts.

  • Important: The last day to add or drop a class during summer depends on the class. For deadlines to drop with a refund and without and with a "W" grade, go to MyPortal > Students Tab > My Courses > View Your Class Schedule. Dates are enforced. Note: You'll need to be registered for the class in order to see the dates on your class schedule.

Did you see that we've added a Registration tab? Click on it to find links to Registration Tools and a new section for (your) My Records.

Remember, if you experience problems when applying for admission or registering for classes, your fastest way to get help is to fill out the A & R Help Form.
