Winter Recess and Holiday Closure Information

Some campus programs and service offices may be open for limited hours during the winter recess.

Please verify hours of operation for individual services and offices before traveling to campus. Please see frequently used phone numbers for contact information.

Get your Eco Pass Clipper Card 

Students getting on busIf you haven't picked up the DASB VTA Eco Pass clipper card, stop by the Office of College Life as soon as school starts Jan. 5 to start riding VTA. Your rides for winter quarter are already paid for through the small Eco Pass fee charged during registration. The Office of College Life will be closed Dec. 15-Jan. 2.


Campus Security

FHDA District Police officers are on duty on holidays and throughout winter recess.

Admissions & Records Office

OPEN for regular hours through Dec. 22, and on Dec. 29-30 and Jan. 2.

CLOSED Dec. 23-26, 31 and Jan. 1.

The Cashier's Office will be open on Dec. 22, 29-30 and closed Jan. 1 and 2.


Assessment Center
The Assessment Center will be open for questions (no testing) on Dec. 22, 29-30 and closed Jan. 2.

Fall textbook rentals are due back by Monday, Dec. 15.

The Bookstore will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1 and open Friday, Dec. 2, and weekend hours the Saturday and Sunday before classes start.

Flea Market on Jan. 3

The De Anza Flea Market is held on the first Saturday of every month (rain or shine) in Campus Parking Lots A and B from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Winter classes begin the week of Jan. 5 and run through March 27, unless otherwise listed in the online schedule.


Registration is available through Jan. 4.

Fees are due
when you register. See open course listing and apply today.


All De Anza College programs and services return to regular operating hours on Monday, Jan. 5.
