De Anza College operates on a quarter system with twelve-week sessions beginning in late September and early January, April and June. Application to the College and online registration is available by going to the De Anza College web site.
Students register for online classes using the same process as students in on-campus academic courses. Online classes are equivalent to regular on-campus classes in credits, transfer, and eligibility for financial aid.

Adding a Class. Once classes begin you will need to obtain an Add code from the course instructors. Use the contact information found in the syllabus to communicate with the instructor in order to request an Add Code. If the instructor decides to add you into their class, immediately register for the class so you will be able to proceed with the class work required.
Wait-listed Students. Students will need to contact the instructor for an Add Code.
