In order to be successful in an online courses, not only do you have to have basic technology skills and resources, you also need to have some understanding about online courses and be prepared to learn in a different way. We have listed some questions that frequently come up for first time online students. Feel free to use them to get some basic ideas.

Some courses require students to come to campus for meetings. Look for the "distance" icon Icon indicating a Online Education site on the OEC Class Schedule for classes that: not require you to come to campus, or
...offer alternatives to on-campus proctored exams for students who do not live close to campus.
