Prerequisites:

(Restricted to students whose native language is not English.) Prerequisite: English as a Second Language 251 or a qualifying score on the English as a Second Language Placement Test. Corequisite: English as a Second Language 261 students may enroll in English as a Second Language 262 and 263 concurrently.

Course Description:

Speaking and listening: emphasis on comprehension and analysis of information; expression of students' ideas using a variety of levels of sophistication. Development of listening, pronunciation and note-taking skills.
