Prerequisites:

Prerequisite: Health Technologies 50 (may also be taken concurrently). (Those enrolled in De Anza College's Health Technology programs must complete the pre/corequisite; those not enrolled in Health Technology programs do not need to complete the pre/corequisite.)

Course Description:

Orientation to medical terminology; basic structure of medical terms and their components-prefixes, suffixes and roots with emphasis on analysis, definition, spelling and pronunciation.
