Prerequisites:Prerequisite: English Writing 1A or English as a Second Language 5; Mathematics 114 or a satisfactory score on the Math Placement Test; Nursing 50; Biology 26, 40A, 40B, 40C and 45; Psychology 1 and 14; Speech 1 or 10; current California Nursing Assistant Certification. Corequisite: Nursing 81NL students must also enroll in Nursing 81N and 81P. Course Description:A transition course which provides a higher level entry into the nursing program for the Certified Nursing Assistant who has basic bedside nursing skills but lacks additional nursing requirements.
