Student Fees

Fees are subject to change without notice

Below is a description of fees you may be assessed when you register for classes. The amount of fees a student pays will vary, depending on factors such as residence status, financial aid eligibility, optional preferences, supplemental instructional materials and parking. To estimate your fees, use the Fee Calculation Worksheet or see the Fee Chart.

Enrollment Fee

All students pay a $13 per unit state-mandated fee.

Instructional Materials Fees

In addition to enrollment fees, instructional materials fees are charged for some courses in accordance with state regulations. These fees are shown in the class listings found in the Schedule of Classes. Designated fees represent the actual cost for materials used in these courses and are generally lower than you would pay if you were to purchase the same items separately. You have the option of paying the fees to the college or providing your own materials of equal quality. A list of materials will be provided by the instructor upon request. The instructor must provide the materials if an issue of health and safety applies.

Parking Fees

  • Non-refundable annual decal for autos (transferable between vehicles): price changes as the year proceeds
  • Quarterly decal for autos (transferable between vehicles): $26.65; $20 summer session
  • Motorcycles/mopeds (bumper-type decal): $15
  • BOGW eligible decal (transferable) $13.15

The transferable parking decal may be transferred from vehicle to vehicle. The quarterly decal must be purchased each quarter. You are eligible for a refund only if you return the unused decal to the Cashier's Office by the 2nd Friday of the quarter or the 1st Friday of summer, or if all your classes are cancelled by the college.

Student parking decals ordered and paid for online are subject to a small shipping and handling fee ($2.50-$6.00).  Upon completion of the online purchase, a printable receipt will be available. You will also receive a purchase confirmation via e-mail or text message. An interim permit will be immediately available. The interim permit (good for 15 calendar days from date of purchase) is for temporary display until your decal arrives in the mail. All decals are mailed to the address specified on the order.  In-person payments are still accepted for valid permit orders at the cashier's counter in the Student and Community Services Building. Students MUST pre-order the decal online before any payment will be accepted at the cashier's counter. There is no shipping and handling charge for payments made in person at the cashier's counter. The interim permit will be released to the student upon payment in person.
