De Anza Introduces NEW MyPORTAL
Registration System for Summer/Fall!

We've moved to our new registration system at myportal.fhda.edu. All you'll
need to know to log in is your 8-digit Student ID.
For summer and fall, you'll use MyPortal to do the same things you did with
the old registration system, and more.
- Add, drop, or register for classes,
- Pay your fees,
- Check your grades,
- See your placement test results,
- Get your date to register,
- Buy a parking permit
- Check your financial aid status
- Update your personal information
Note: An e-mail
address shared between De Anza applicants will prevent the creation of
MyPortal accounts for those students.
Continuing students will continue to use the old registration system through Spring 2010 for
the following:
- Access 2009-2010 financial aid information through August
- View spring grades
- Student ID lookup

If you are a new student, your CWID/SID will be
generated and e-mailed to you after you submit your application for admission.
MyPortal Campuswide ID & Password
Go to MyPortal now
to be certain your login works. Enter your 8-digit Student ID
(also known as
your Campuswide ID) and your 6-digit temporary password,
which is your date of birth MMDDYY. You will be
required to create a secure new password the first time you log in.
Get Your Date to Register
View your date to register and eliminate any holds that would
prevent you from registering at your appointed time. Log in to myportal.fhda.edu and and then click on the Students Tab to follow the link to Get Date to Register. Note: Your date to register is normally available a few weeks before the registration period begins for a specific quarter.
Update Your E-mail Account
Update MyPortal with a valid e-mail address that you check
frequently. Note: An e-mail
address shared between De Anza applicants will prevent the creation of
MyPortal accounts for those students.

Apply and Register for SUMMER and FALL
NEW and FORMER Students
Applying for Admission
Former Students: If you have attended De Anza College in the past but were not registered in spring 2010, you must apply for admission for summer or fall.
When you apply for admission to De Anza College, you will be asked
for your Social Security Number (SSN).
You have the right to decline to give your SSN during the application process. However, there are several reasons why it may be to your advantage to
provide your SSN. These include:
- Financial Aid – Your SSN is required if
you are applying for federal and state financial aid programs.
- Easier Access to MyPortal To reset your MyPortal password if you forget it, you'll need to use
the last 4 digits of your SSN.
- Tax Credits and Deductions – Providing your
SSN helps you (or someone claiming you as a dependent) receive tax
credits or deductions to which you are entitled.
- Apply for admission now!
