Skills Workshop Schedule
Academic Skills Center workshops are interactive presentations and discussions on a variety of topics:
- Time Management
- Textbook Reading
- Concentration and Memory
- Anti-Procrastination
- Text Taking and Test Anxiety
Skills staff provide handouts and lead activities to help you improve study skills, and skills in English writing, grammar, spelling and vocabulary and more!
Workshops are open to any De Anza student, but priority seating is given to students enrolled in:
Seating in workshops is limited to 15 students; one-week advance sign up is required to guarantee a space. Students can sign up outside the Academic Skills Center starting in Week 3 of the quarter. Workshops take place during Weeks 4 - 8 of the quarter only.
Days and times are subject to change without notice, so please look at the white board outside ATC 302 each Monday during Weeks 4-8 to learn room location and any updates or cancellations.
If you are signed up but cannot attend, please call 408-864-8253 so we can make your space available to another student.
