Tutor Application
Tutoring at the De Anza Tutorial Centers is a great way to improve your content and communication skills and meet other great De Anza tutors!
- To be paid as a student employee you must be registered at De Anza for at least 6 units, or at least 12 units if you are an international student.
- You must have completed each subject you wish to tutor with a grade of B or better and have an excellent recommendation from your instructor.
- Once you submit your application, you will be asked to take a test and meet with a supervisor for an interview.
- All new tutors are required to take one of the tutor training courses. Follow the links for more information about these courses.

If you'd like to become a De Anza tutor:
- Download, fill out and submit the completed New Tutor Application Form to the appropriate Supervisors in person or as an email attachment. Please e-mail the appropriate Faculty Recommendation form to your instructor, and request he or she complete it and return it to supervisor as an e-mail attachment
