Tutor TrainingAll new tutors, unless exempt attend a tutor training class during the first quarter of tutoring. New tutors attend an enroll in one of of the following:LRNA-077.-65R - Special Projects in Learning Assistance 1 Unit. Meets four times, beginning week 3, on Mondays 4:30-6:00 PM in _____ In addition to the class, tutors complete four "topic-specific" workshop sessions or activities. LRNA /SPCH 96: Intro to Peer Tutoring in Groups 2 Units. Meets six times, beginning week 3, on Fridays 1:30-3:20 PM in MCC12. This class is designed for new Skills Adjunct and group tutors. New tutor orientations: All new tutors must attend an orientation to learn our procedures and practices. Please review the the SSC Tutor Handbook before the orientation. Topic-Specific Sessions: New tutors enrolled in LRNA 77 are required to complete four 90-minute topic-specific sessions, or approved alternative training activity.
