UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Information Sessions

Students planning to transfer to UC in Fall 2018 are strongly encouraged to attend an information session to review UC TAG program requirements.

UC TAG Information Session Topics:
  • A brief overview of the UC Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) system and UC TAG program - Special focus on UC Davis TAG criteria
  • Review how to submit a TAG application
  • Specific procedures and deadlines for De Anza College students
  • Question & Answer period at the end of each session
Why attend a UC TAG Information Session?

After attending a UC TAG Information Session, students will:

  • Acquire information about online UC TAG resources and information.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of TAG requirements to help determine their UC TAG eligibility.
  • Use the online UC TAG system to submit their TAG application successfully.
UC TAG Information Session Guidelines
  • Pre-registration required.  Registration closes once a session reaches maximum capacity.
  • Sign up early - seating is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
  • Arrive promptly, as sessions will begin immediately. Students who arrive late are not guaranteed a seat.
  • If necessary, please cancel at least 24 hours prior to start of workshop to allow other students to attend.
  • Bring a pen/pencil.
UC TAG Advising @ De Anza College
  • EOPS students must work with EOPS counselors to address any TAG issues.
    Contact the EOPS Office for availability of TAG advising services during the summer.
  • International students must work with International Student Program (ISP) counselors to address any TAG issues.
    Contact the ISP Office for availability of TAG advising services during the summer.
  • All other students can meet with a counselor or academic adviser in the Transfer Center or Counseling & Advising Center prior to submitting their TAG application in September.
    To make the most efficient use of time, students are strongly encouraged to:
    • Have created and started working on their UC TAP account
      • Complete the "My Coursework" section
      • Bring a printed copy of their UC TAP summary page
        (Instructions for printing:  Log into your UC TAP account > Go to the "Review" tab > Click on the "Print Page" link located at the top or the "Print" button located at the bottom of the page.)
    • Come prepared with UC TAG-specific questions

Summer 2017 UC TAG Info Sessions have been postponed until further notice due to delays in UC system-wide updates to the 2018-2019 UC TAG program.
Please check back periodically for a revised UC TAG Info Session schedule.
