In addition, the class will be used as a platform to explore different strategies of coalition building, policy reform, political mobilization and community empowerment among the various communities in the Silicon Valley.

Community organizers and activists are encouraged to register for this class!

Instructor Claudia Andrade, MA, is a South Bay native and researched San Jose’s juvenile hall and urban youth in the Silicon Valley. She also produced a film on San Jose continuation high schools.
