Training Dates

This fall we are offering both basic and intermediate training, with some sessions designated for faculty training only. See description of classes and training schedule below.

• Basic Training - All
  Covers how to use OmniUpdate to build department Web sites. Faculty may attend this session, but the training will take a more general approach across all types of Web sites.
• Basic Training - Faculty
  Covers how to use OmniUpdate to build a Web site using templates created just for faculty pages.
• Intermediate Training - All
  Covers best practices, including optimizing images, posting documents, and using tables and styles. Completion of basic training is required.
• Intermediate Training - Faculty
  Covers best practices for using OmniUpdate to build a faculty Web site based on your instructional style. Enrollment requires that you have either completed a basic training class or have taken the Quick Guide test and already have an OmniUpdate account and faculty Web site.

Signing Up for a Class

Important note: Please request your date(s) no later than end of day as listed on the Sign Up By column of your first choice so that there is enough time to create your OmniUpdate account and Web site template.

There is no fee for training. Once you attend basic training, we invite you to join in an open lab sessions offered during the week. A Web Team member will be on hand to assist you with getting your pages ready to publish.
