Table Properties: Insert/Modify Table
GENERAL TAB
- Cols
- Rows
- Cellpadding: (buffer in cell between border and text or image)
- Cellspacing: The width of the cell border line
- Width: Always start with 100%
- Alignment
- Border: For visible border, set border to 1.
- Class: Select Table 1 for grey border or one of the De Anza border colors
ADVANCED TAB
- Summary: Describe reason for a data table
- Border and Background color: Selection will affect entire table.
- Use the Row or Cell properties tools to add color to rows or individual cells.
- See color palette color #s for De Anza colors.
Setting Alignments - Table vs. Cell
Think about your alignments ahead of time - Table vs. current cell vs. current cells in row vs. all cells.
Accessible Data Table - Required
Set headers for table cell columns and rows
Table Summary > Insert/Edit Table > General Tab
- Include a brief description of the table
Ex: Winter 2012 Academic calendar with dates and deadlines and links to more information

- Scope: Row and/or Column
