WEEKEND COLLEGEplus Counseling

WEEKEND COLLEGEplus is for students with busy schedules. De Anza College offers a number of counseling options for students who enroll in the program. Counselors are available during regular school hours and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. New students can take advantage of the Counseling 100 class (COUN 100). (Note: The Counseling office will be closed on Saturdays during the summer.)

Counseling 100 is an orientation to De Anza that includes information about programs, services, policies, degrees, certificates, transfer requirements and college culture. Focus will be on strategies needed for academic success and the development of a WEEKEND COLLEGEplus educational plan. Students who complete Counseling 100 receive early registration as continuing students.

WEEKEND COLLEGEplus Student Ambassador

A student ambassador will be available on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer your questions. Call ahead of time at 408.864.5674 to set up an appointment or stop by the lobby information desk in the Student and Community Services Building. (Note: This service will not be available during summer. Please contact the WEEKEND COLLEGEplus Hotline at 408.590.5636 with questions about the program.)

Online Tutoring

Are you unable to visit our campus Tutorial and Academic Skills Center because of your busy schedule?  Make an appointment with an online tutor to help you with your writing without leaving the comfort of your home.

Trained writing tutors provide free help through our Online Writing Assistance Center. Learn more about how to participate in online tutoring.

Financial Aid

Do you need money for school?  Contact our Financial Aid and Scholarships Office about applying for funds for your education. Call 408.864.8718 or visit the Financial Aid Web site. Ask about our computer scholarship program!
