Careers Using Business Software Applications

Across a number of trades and industries, one of the most common job requirements is proficiency in business-related computer applications. Job seekers who have proven experience in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software have a better chance of entering the job market and succeeding in the office environment. On a more focused level, there is also a regular need for individuals with experience in electronic publishing and web development to handle corporate communications in the increasingly digital world. The job outlook is good for people with publishing skills; it is very good for people with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation skills.
