About the Coach

Megan Finney-Kravets enters her third season as Head Coach for the Dons Softball program. A San Jose native and a two-sport athlete in soccer and softball, Megan graduated from Leland High School and later from the De Anza College with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. While at De Anza, she was a Two-Sports Scholar Athlete and received multiple awards in soccer and softball (in soccer she received NCAA All American, 1st Team All Conference, 2nd Team All Conference, and All Region MVP in 2005; in softball she received 1st Team All Conference in 2005 and 2006).

Upon transfer to Menlo College, Megan was a standout outfielder for the Oaks for two seasons, finishing second in the California Pacific Conference in batting as a senior en route to becoming a First Team All-Cal Pac selection. In the Oaks record book, she ranks in the Top 10 in career batting average, doubles, and stolen bases. She also ranks in the Top 10 in single-season hits, runs, triples, and stolen bases.

As a two-sport star at Menlo, Megan was a two-time All-California Pacific Conference soccer selection while helping to lead the Oaks to a Cal Pac title and a berth in the NAIA Region II Tournament. With her patrolling the midfield, Menlo went 12-4-1 in Cal Pac matches and 20-15-1 overall.

In May 2010 Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Menlo College and in 2012 she received her Masters in Kinesiology from Fresno Pacific University.

Megan, loves the game of softball and is eager to share her passion and knowledge with her players. She loves taking on new challenges and motivate others succeed!
