Getting Your Textbooks

Books and Materials
- Our Bookstore staff will ship orders as quickly as possible, while we take every precaution to help protect their health.
- When you order online, you will be prompted to provide your eight-digit student identification number and your address.
Using Financial AidWhen you place your order, you will see a dropdown menu for payment methods. You can select "Financial Aid" if you have an award – such as De Anza College Promise or EOPS, for example – that provides funds for books and materials.
Textbook and course material information shown does not constitute a guarantee that the textbook will not change or that the class will not be cancelled. It is strongly advised that students go to class first to ensure that the course materials procured are what is required for that class. The De Anza College Bookstore is not liable for any textbooks or course materials purchased anywhere other than the De Anza College Bookstore. Please see our refund policy for additional information.
All textbook totals are calculated at the time of order using new prices, as we cannot guarantee the availability of used books. If used books are not available and you do not want the bookstore to substitute new books for used books, please note this in the message field at checkout. Orders that are filled with used textbooks will be adjusted and charged accordingly. Course materials, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice. Pricing changes may often occur daily as shipments arrive. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the pricing on our website. Items with a price listed of $0.00, or TBD do not yet have a price available, and if ordered, your order will be updated with the price when available.

Web orders which contain rental books that do not have a student ID number, or the student ID number does not match De Anza College records will be cancelled at order processing. Notification of rental item cancellation will not be sent. It is the student's responsibility to check the status of their order via the De Anza College Bookstore's website.
It is the responsibility of the customer to notify the Bookstore at firstname.lastname@example.org on any items to be cancelled or changed from the existing order. All items not cancelled will be filled and charged when available. Please reference your name, student ID number, and web order number when contacting the Bookstore.
All textbooks and merchandise not available for immediate fulfillment will be backordered. When the item is available, it will be added to your outstanding order for completion. Your credit card will be charged when the backorder is fulfilled.
Shipping and Processing
All orders are shipped and processed at De Anza College Bookstore. Orders are processed during Bookstore operating hours and are shipped or ready for pick up within 1-2 business days from order. Orders are not processed or shipped when the Bookstore is closed. Shipping charges are not refundable.
The return policy for items ordered online is the same as our return policy for items purchased at De Anza College Bookstore in person. Please read our full refund policy.
