Message from the Chair of Flea Market
Hey there! My name is Kaitlyn Pasaylon and I'll be serving as the Chair of the Flea
Market Committee this school year. The DASB Flea Market serves as both a business
and an interactive monthly occurrence that brings people together while contributing
to the senate. During this term, my goal is to improve the Flea Market and promote
it to both De Anza students and the off-campus community. In order to fulfill this,
we are looking for creative minds who can bring
new ideas. If you are interested in business, marketing, or event planning, this is
the perfect place for you to show your skills and learn how the DASB Flea Market operates.
I highly encourage everyone to participate! The Flea Market has so much potential
for growth, and I am so excited to make the most out of it with all of you!
What does Flea Market do?
The Flea Market committee meets once a week to prepare for the monthly DASB Flea Market. In these weekly meetings, committee members brainstorm creative ways to promote and improve the Flea Market and reach out to more customers and vendors. Together, we resolve issues brought up by customers and think of new ways to make the event more interactive and engaging.
Function of the Flea Market Committee
The main function of the Flea Market Committee is to maintain and operate the DASB Flea Market. To do so, this committee is in charge of resolving issues, developing ideas and promoting. We are also responsible for informing others about the activities going on in the Flea Market by presenting monthly reports to the Senate.
