Message from the Chair of Marketing & Communications

Hi all! My name is Sunnie (she/her/hers), and I am your 2021-2022 DASG Chair of Marketing and Communications. I have been living in the bay area for half of my life and am currently studying public policy at De Anza College! I decided to join the student government because of my passion in helping other students. If you feel the same way, come join the Marketing and Communications Committee and help students through building positive relationships across campus communities and increasing student engagement! We welcome and encourage anyone who has interests in social media, public relations, writing, interacting with students, graphic design, and more. Bonus: I have two orange cats.

What is the Marketing and Communications Committee and what does it do?

The DASG Marketing and Communications Committee aims to increase student engagement and representation through interpersonal communication and empowerment, by building strong positive relationships between all communities on campus. We strive to be accessible to students from all backgrounds, and to allow students to feel comfortable in reaching out to DASG to voice their concerns, to have their rights be advocated for.
