Materials: Pencil, eraser, graph paper, graphing calculator. Recommended TI-84 or equivalent.

Prerequisite: Intermediate Algebra (MATH 109, MATH 114 or MATH 130) or equivalent.
Advisory: EWRT 211 and READ 211, or ESL 272 and 273.

Course Objectives:

This course covers polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions, graphs, solving equations, conic sections, systems of equations and inequalities, sequences and series.

Time Commitment
According to the college catalog, page 35, “Students should expect two hours of outside preparation for each one hour spent in class.” Thus it is expected that students that take my classes should spend at least 8 hours a week outside of class.
