Danial Dwyer is a Mexican-American attorney, and is the Managing Attorney for Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Inc.'s (TRLA) Farmworker Team.  She will be discussing her work as an attorney for migrant farm workers and the challenges they face.

Jennifer Pritheeva Samuel is a Sri-Lankan-American photographer and filmmaker whose projects connect personal stories to larger themes of migration, identity and movement as activism.  She has produced short films for UNICEF and has also Associate Produced several documentary films for PBS FRONTLINE.  She will be screening the film Claiming Our Voice, followed by a discussion of her work.  She will be joined by Nahar Alam, who has direct experience of the combination of challenges that immigrant workers face - workplace exploitation, gender discrimination, and xenophobia.  Based on her experience, she founded Andolan - Organizing South Asian Workers in 1998.
